Since 1938 the Redford Model Railroad Club (RMRRC) has been serving the Michigan community by preserving railroad history, and providing support through community outreach such as: Open House’s, opening for special visits from seniors and other organizations, providing the BSA railroad merit badge to Scouts and volunteering at train shows. In order to continue providing these services, we are asking local business’s for their support.

Each year, beginning in September and continuing through May, the RMRRC will be opening its doors to the public on special Saturdays for our annual open house program.  The open house attracts hundreds of visitors each season, exposing not only the heritage of railroading, but also the hobby of model railroading to the community.

As stated we are seeking the support of business’s by offering the opportunity to advertise your business on our “Business Train.”  This special train, operated by our members during the hours of each open house session will run around the 26 x 52 model railroad track and be viewed by hundreds of visitors throughout the open house season.  For each business that is interested in advertising and receiving this exposure, and supporting the Redford Model Railroad Club (a Non-profit 501(c)(3) organization), you can purchase a vinyl wrapped train car with your advertisement displayed. Your own advertising train car will be $40.00 (this covers the initial cost of the train car and vinyl wrap), annual renewal is then only $20.00. We will also display your business cards on our board and place an image of it on our website, the train car when not run at an open house is displayed on the wall.
