The club is sadden to announce the passing of Milt Moore our friend and oldest member of the club. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.

On Monday, May 29th 2023, Milton Stewart Moore Jr. – a wonderful husband, brother, father,
grandfather and great grandfather passed away.
Born in Wyandotte MI on July 25th, 1934 to parents Milton and Ester Moore.
Milton Attended Purdue university, and met Roselynn James at age 18 – while she was 15.
They married in 1958.
He was a Rotarian and a very avid fan of boating – especially “woodies.” He was also a 50 year
long member of the Redford Model Railroad Club.
Milton loved hosting parties, especially when all the babies could be with him. He was an
excellent artist and cartoonist including MANY appearances in National Railroad Magazines.
Milton is survived by his wife, Roselyn of 64 years, and their daughter Melissa Percy and her
husband David – who have four children, Jenna Denison (Scott), Jacob Moody, Jesse Moody
(Lauren), and Allie Percy.
He is also survived by his great grandchildren Landon, Milton, Marleigh, Roselynn and Greyson
He is also survived by his sister Mary Gene Shucker. He was preceded in death by his son,
Milton Stewart Moore III. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Ester Moore,
Brother George and Sister Nancy Lee Fawcett.
Visitation will be held at The Ford Chapel Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 23620
North Huron River Drive, Rockwood MI 48173, June 2, 2023 from 12pm to 8pm.
The funeral service will be held at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church located at 2803 1st Street,
Wyandotte MI 48192, June 3, 2023 at 11am.
There will be a visitation with the family prior to the service at 10 am.
